Discerning God’s Word: Just about all Christians refer to the bible, as being the word of God, and though I hold a great love for the bible, I have a much greater love of the Lord and God that inspired the bible, to be written, for I know that, that belief is robbing many, of the richness, in hearing the true indwelling word of God, that is to be, revealed and lived, in obedience, day by day, 24\7.
When we study the Bible, we see the phrase, "word of God" used multiple times and we need to discern that scripture to see the intent of how it was used and how is it giving clarity to that message. For example:
1 Kings 12:22 NKJV But the word of God came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
1 Kings 12:24 NKJV ‘Thus says the LORD: “You shall not go up nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel. Let every man return to his house, for this thing is from Me.”’” Therefore they obeyed the word of the LORD, and turned back, according to the word of the LORD.
So what was this word of God, was it not a direct message from the Lord that was delivered in the heart and thoughts of Shemaiah, by the Holy Spirit of God. Back in the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit came upon men but today we have a much closer opportunity in having a divine relationship with God through His indwelling Holy SPirit, 24/7, Day and night, everyday of the year. And Satan does not want people, to even get a glimpse of the divine experience. And he has inserted many teachings in the corporate church, just to hide one from ever having any understanding of the great richness found, in living in Christ. Here is another example:
1 Chronicles 17:3-4 NKJV But it happened that night that the word of God came to Nathan, saying, [4] “Go and tell My servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD: “You shall not build Me a house to dwell in.
I would think it’s quite clear that, after looking at all the verses that have that phrase, "word of GOd", that the delivery of that word of God, was not Amazon, making a midnight delivery, of a bible.
We can observe that the "word of God" was received by those that indeed, had a close relationship with God, through the Holy Spirit of God. I have found no Scripture in the bible that defines the bible as being the word of God. I have found where the Old Testament was identified as being inspired by God and we know that, that scripture is referring to the Old Testament for when that letter was written, as it referenced "from childhood" speaking to those, that were alive at the time of his writing this letter to them.
2 Timothy 3:15-16 NKJV and that "from childhood" you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All Scripture is given by "inspiration of God", and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
Anyway, "inspiration of God" is far different than being the "word of God". All of God's children are inspired by God and I certainly would not call any of my writings or anyone else’s, the word of God. And I do not believe, even for a second, that the apostle Paul would of allowed his letters to be called the word of God, especially when he wrote:
2 Timothy 2:7 NKJV Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.
Because when he said …”may the Lord give you understanding in all things.
”, that divine understanding, is indeed, the true word of God, of which Satan does not want anyone to experience. And that is why his credentialed ministers of error from long ago, and even yet today, still teach that the bible is the word of God, and it is my discernment, they’re doing the will of Satan. That teaching has been endorsed by the credentialed for many generations and today, almost all Christians don’t even question it. And in that, Satan has had his way, for I fear, many Christians never look any further, then their bible, to hear from God. They just read the bible for that is their only link to God they know. And that greatly increases their risk of Jesus telling them, on that great Day of Judgment, ...‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Mathew 7:23 NKJV Definitely not good timing, to hear those words, not at all! This next scripture refer to the word of God as being a He. I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen a male bible, so this verse must be referring to the will of God, being personally revealed.
Proverbs 30:5-6 NKJV Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. [6] Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.
This He as reference in the above scripture is the word of God being revealed personally, through the anointing of God that is provided in Christ, as identified in this next scripture.
1 John 2:27 NKJV But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
Now pay close attention to this next scripture that confirms the anointing of God that abides in those living in Christ, which is also the only resource confirming truth as revealed in the discernment of our thoughts. This next verse is not making any reference to the bible, but rather the anointing of God, which is Christ in you! For is the anointing of God that is living and powerful and the discerning of our thoughts!
Hebrews 4:12 NKJV For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Also take notice that, there is no scripture in the entire bible that I have found, that confirms that Jesus nor any of his disciples ever referred to any written Scripture as being the "word of God", instead, scripture was reference as, …as it is written. And I discern that there is very good reason that the bible has no make no reference to being the word of God. For Jesus' sacrifice, did indeed “prepared a place”, for us in that divine relationship with God, where we can hear the silent voice of God, in the discernment of our thoughts, as God’s will is personally revealed, 24/7, in accordance to one’s sincerity of heart. For anyone that desires to find this close relationship with God, as exampled by Christ Jesus, and His disciples and apostles, they can know, it begins with submitting to the will of God. So to call any Scripture, the "word of God" would take focus away from the indwelling anointing of God and place that divine significance to something written! And that’s exactly, the desire of the devil, to hide that divine relationship from those seeking it! Which opens the door for deception, with many continuing to be deceived, by the teachings and doctrines of man? And as Jesus said, only a few will find it. As the Lord said, going with the flow, is the broad way to destruction. Keeping in mind that just because many paradigm teachings have been past down, from generation to generation, does not prove it’s authentic. And when taught a deception, from childhood, it’s nearly impossible to correct that erroneous belief. And make no mistake, Satan is counting on that! Also, for your own sake, do not believe anything that is being preached unless you can fully support it with scripture and prayer. For as time continues, and most can see the change of time and beliefs of today, how they have changed in just the past few years, then also consider the spread of deception over the past 2000 years. Consider how much more deception has spread, since the writing of this next scripture
2 Timothy 3:13 NKJV But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
So do not buy into the idea, that they have better understanding today. Unless that better understanding came to you from the Lord, deception will only get worse and worse, just as prophesied in the bible.
