Do not Forsaken the assembling of ourselves together,

Many in the corporate churches are doing this unknowlingly

Stay with me: The bible commands the children of God not to forsaken the assembling together, as it is written.

Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, [25] not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

And I think we need to first take a close look at what church fellowship was back in the early days of the church, the church being those, disciplined in Christ, as documented in the bible. And not to associate today’s corporate churches with the church of Christ Jesus, as manifested in the bible for there is no resemblance. I’ll get back to that later.

The bible teaches the children of God, not to forsaken the assembling together and for good reason. This is not talking about corporate church services but rather when, true children of God gather together, in fellowship, talking about the deep things of God. Lets discern this for a moment. What is going to be the mindset, or better yet, what is most important things to those disciplined in Christ. Would it not be the things and matters of the church, their brethren as indicated in the fellowship as described... lets review that verse in Hebrews again and we will see, all the things that are centered, within our love for our brethren. Please discern.

Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, [25] not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

The early church was deeply involved in the lives of others, in sincere love for one another. And what was their first love? Did they get together to visit about movies they liked, or where they dined and had good service, maybe boating, traveling, maybe sports? I don’t think so. I think their first love was the presence of Christ. I think they got together, seeking the fellowship of others, that shared in their love of experiencing the presence of Christ, in their life. And in this, they were excited what had been revealed to them and wanted to share with other what Christ had shown them. And when they were in the fellowship, Christ would add, or reveal things, to those listening, giving more clarity. Keep in mind how Jesus confirmed, that when two or three got together, there He would be there also, for Christ dwells in the hearts, of the obedient children of God.

Matthew 18:20 NKJV For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

And the apostle Paul instructed that when two or more are sharing a revelation or prophesy and the third has something to say, the first are to be silent. And that is for good reason. With Christ being present, the first, that are speaking, are most likely not discerning while they are talking but when the third is listening and discerning what is being said, by the others, Christ may reveal something significant to him, to add to that conversation, so that all can learn. Therefore the first one or two are to let the third one with the revelation speak, for the others to discern and learn. That is the assembling together that is not to be forsaken!

The assembling together in Christ:. 1 Corinthians 14:27-31 NKJV If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret. [28] But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God. [29] Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge. [30] But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent. [31] For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged.

We can see that in that small church setting, which is a small group of disciples, disciplined in Christ, focused on the deep things of God, and Christ is the center, the teacher, teaching through the divine revelations revealed through Christ, the anointing of God, as confirmed by scripture. Take note that the children of God have only one teacher, which is Christ. Christ Jesus, the anointing of God that is provided through Jesus, the Son of God.

Matthew 23:8,10 NKJV But you, do not be called 'Rabbi'; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. [10] And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.

And how the disciplined church received their divine learning.

1 John 2:27 NKJV But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

Here is the thing, this divine teaching and fellowship, is not happening in today's corporate church services, for each corporate church has heaped up for themselves a credentialed teacher or pastor, educated to please the ears of that specific congregation, and in like manner, as the children of Israel wanted a man king instead of the Lord, to be their king, someone they could see, today’s attendees of these corporate churches desire the same thing, desiring to have a man teacher, they can see, rather than to be taught by Christ, whom they cannot see.

Biblical prophecy of today's corporate churches

The apostle Paul really nailed it, when he prophesied of today's corporate churches, in this manner.

Corporate churches: 2 Timothy 4:3-4 NKJV For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves (credentialed) teachers; [4] and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

Because of those attending corporate churches and focusing only on their credential teacher, their pastor, and the other intertainment provided by their corporate church, many have never learned Christ, and are in grave danger of Jesus telling them that He never knew them, on that soon coming and great Day of Judgment!

Ephesians 4:20-24 NKJV But you have not so learned Christ, [21] if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: (no mention of a pastor or preacher) [22] that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, [23] and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, [24] and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

And the pastors/preachers, of these corporate churches, having only the education they received from the seminary that educated them in the things that are not offensivce and pleasing to the ears of those attending. And in that environment, it would be impossible for that divine relationship with God to be realized. Which happens to be the very intent of Satan! In this next scripture, we all have a choice, listen to those that that are deceived, that try to deceive us or learn direct from Christ throught the anointing of God.

1 John 2:26-27 NKJV These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. [27] But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

There are exceptions of those that at home, serious study the bible and place truth above all their personal desires. But if that is the case, they will not be attending the corporate churches long, for Christ will open their eyes to the truth, and that churches deceptions, and false teachings, will soon be exposed to them.
